Camel Pro Coffee Dark Roast Limited Edition

from $3.50

The year is 1975. You are a young and accomplished factory Yamaha racer by the name of Kenny Roberts. You show up to the Indy Mile aboard a 120 horsepower 4 cylinder 2 stroke TZ 750 stuffed into a flattrack frame ready to do business.

At the drop of the green flag it’s nothing but dust as you spin the rear tire. Finally hooking up for the first time down the back straightaway you immediately go by 10 people. The next 5 laps is nothing but a blur as you experiment with different techniques trying to find the sweet spot that makes the TZ hook up. Using the killswitch, not using the killswitch, low line, high line, brakes, no brakes etc. Every lap is an experiment. But then, all of the sudden, about lap 15 , things start working. You find yourself running 20-30 mph faster into the corners then the competition constantly chasing the traction up the racetrack. The hard charge has taken a toll on the tires as they are chunking out at a rapid pace-and the racing line now sees you just clipping the haybales, wideopen, sideways with no room for mistakes. On the last lap you are running 3rd down the back straightaway with a for sure podium spot secured. Amazingly, the TZ hooks up and drives out of the corner like no lap before. You pass Jay Springsteen out of 4, immediately catch Corky Keeners draft and blast by him at the line winning the race by mere inches!

Much like Kenny, this Camel Pro Dark Roast blend took us 24 laps to perfect as well. Take the guesswork out of a great cup of our Dark Roast coffee because we have a victory with this one.
